These commercials...advertising everything from soda, to fast food, to anti-smoking, and even those Poopsie Unicorn things...how were they approved for airing?! And what is it about them that makes it hard for one to look away, no matter how much they want to? When I watched your Twitch livestream of your reactions to these ads a few days ago, we saw some ads that were...truly something. From shocking, to sexual, to just plain WTF, advertisers will surely stop at nothing-not even showing material that some might find questionable-to get their message across. I reckon they got the job done...while at the same time making you question why the ads even exist.
If the ads themselves were crazy, your reactions to them were truly hilarious. If it was fruit stripping naked, you were shocked and going WTF. If it was a car dealer doing his best Gru impression, you could not stop laughing, and you had me laughing along with you (and I am still amazed that you went as far as to call the dealership to thank them for giving you a wonderful experience). If it was anthro characters advertising Mio or Orangina, it was clearly one more reason for the fans to call you a furry. All these ads-and many others-were good for some laughs...not just from the adverts themselves, but from your reactions to them, and when we find ourselves laughing along with you, it's living proof that we've found some more entertainment gold coming from you!
It is also neat to see not only the first Top Ten list video in almost a year, but also your branching out to cover animated commercials. I know you've sort of done this to cover mobile ads, though that was more to show how disturbing those ads can be and how YouTube somehow allows those on their platform. Here, you clearly showed us just how insane commercials can be, and how they get their point across in a rather...um, blunt kind of way. Perhaps you could do some more commercial-themed videos in the future. A Top Ten Blessed Animated Commercials video, a What the HELL is...on a particular type of ad (sort of like the one you made for the Lily's Garden ads earlier this year)...the possibilities are endless, I'm sure. Of course, whatever kind of videos you're planning next, I'll be here to check them out, too!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, Saber, and see you soon! =)
