TL;DR: 

I've decided I'm gonna start serializing PINAPL as my Patreon-exclusive comic going forward. These "dry run" pages I did a year or two ago are too fun! I am going to do more like these. Fast & loose beby. YOU SEE, stuff like SHARKNIFE & GUNBRAIN are more "built for print" (to be made into books) so it becomes more difficult for me to serialize them on sites like Patreon. PINAPL however, will be the JAM, boyyeeee. Of course, backers on my REYYYTREON will still get in-depth looks at my other developing projects like SHARKNIFE FIGHT MACHINE & GUNBRAIN! Absolutely! Pretty rad deal for $3 a month!

Here are some old "dry run" pages for my comic of legend: PINAPL!

tbh these are some of the most kinetic comic pages I've made in the last few years. Dug them up the other night and was kinda wowed. I want to continue PINAPL. 

& here's the thing about PINAPL: It's a bit more loose, open... You can tell with the above pages, it's more about MAKING PAGES & creating mood more than making it look fantastic, you know? 

That, contrasted with my other comics like GUNBRAIN & SHARKNIFE, which are more highly curated / specifically made for-print, etc-- It's harder to portion out those projects for Patreon. Hence the lack of comic updates sometimes. 

So my idea now is to serialize PINAPL as the main comic here on PATREON. To get comics updates going more consistently here. 

I went through my notes on PINAPL, and I have 28 pages of content written for it! So yeah, there is plenty for me to work from. And as stated earlier, PINAPL's VERY NATURE is to be a bit more loose, open-- so it suits itself MUCH BETTER for monthly comics updates.

This does not mean you'll never see GUNBRAIN or SHARKNIFE again-- you, my Reyyytrons, will still get to see the development of those projects, etc, as they develop!

It just means PINAPL is gonna be the more consistent, primary COMIC here on the REYYYTREON. SOUND GOOD? 

GOOD!!!! Coz I super want to make it! 

PINAPL has been a comic idea of mine for nearly 20 years!!!! So this aint no random decision of mine. It feels more like PERFECT DESTINY. PINAPL has a deep legacy with me as a creator. It's basically my LORD OF THE RINGS. (lord of the PINAPLS)

The serialized PINAPL comic on Patreon will still be in this "dry run" nature-- fast & loose! The idea is, the comic you'll be seeing is still somewhat of a "draft" of what will eventually be a "Final" version of PINAPL. A "draft" but still super fuckin fun & cool! And I think it's kinda extra fun doing it this way, as you get to see the "beta" version of PINAPL unfold! And if things ever change in a "final" version, only YOU will know about the subtle differences, etc!  Hell, maybe YOU can even influence where the story will go!! And isn't that interaction what PATREON is all about? Hell yeah! 

SO, that is what will be going down at the $3 level! PINAPL serialization and continued development previews for SHARKNIFE, GUNBRAIN, etc! 

& now that I've mentioned it, I really DO like the idea of y'all REYYYTRONS viewing & voicing your opinions on PINAPL as it develops and maybe YOU can help decide where it goes! That's cool!
