PALADIN

Mentioned in my last post that I'm working on a pinup for new game "PANZER PALADIN"! 

Look, I saw a trailer for the game, literally thought it looked fucking amazing!!!! Like right up my alley. I am a huge sucker for any game where you can hop in and out of a mecha. I had done artwork for TRIBUTE GAMES in the past, so I hit them up on Twitter (actually felt kinda embarrassed about it soon after lol) & they got back to me and were into it! 

Now I am drawing an official piece for the game! And they asked that the piece "feature the variety of weapons" at the mecha's ("GRIT") disposal. I immediately knew what type of drawing I wanted to make based on that request; one of those "MECHA SURROUNDED BY THEIR ARSENAL" pics, knahmean? Like this NEON GENESIS EVANGELION illustration I've always loved:

I love the designs for these characters, & all the weapons too! Each of these weapons are in fact depictions of actual in-game weapons you get to use in the game! 

I am a total fangirl for this game lol 

Perhaps I will try to RECORD the process of INKING this sucka, so we have some new VIDEO CONTENT on the horizon. 

Here's the rough thumbnail layout shots-- I *was* gonna go with design "B" but we were worried the human protagonist ("FLAME") would get lost. So I went with the straight up Evangelion tribute pose ;D

It's pretty dope-- between this and the Transformers cover I recently did-- lots of ROBOTS in my life lately-- and I am totally cool with that!!! Gotta get back to GUNBRAIN asap to fulfill my own mecha desires... 

Oh yeah I also whipped up a new T-SHIRT DESIGN!!!!!!!!!! lmk if you'd rock this... I'll probably make a new update just for this soon ✌
