Ceasar's HAIR!

I like drawing / designing hair. 

Of course, the hair of your MAIN CHARACTER gotta be good. 

I've actually struggled a bit with Ceasar's hair for FIGHT MACHINE! In previous books I would kinda wing it, too. The only solid thing was that Ceasar had the BLACK part on the back of his head. Both he and his brother, mother and pops have the BLACK / WHITE thing going on in their hair. It's a kind of "DARING ENERGY" thing that their family has! I will probably go into that further in the comic in the future. 

ANYWAY! I think I about have his hair locked down this time, and I have some criteria for what it needed to achieve. 

A certain volume, and shape, and any hidden references I could make to his alter-ego, SHARKNIFE!

Let's take a look:

- "strongers sillhouette" means "stronger silhouette" lol, which is hard to spell apparently but what i mean is that with that more ACCENTUATED spike, Ceasar has a bit of a stronger silhouette ! 

- added volume on the front of his hair, reminds me of that "vintage anime" look. Lupin, Ranma, even harkens kinda to a GO NAGAI style-- accentuated almost pompador look

- That accentuated hair also makes his face a bit smaller and more anime like. 

and here are the references to his alt-mode within his hair / head shape. I'm happy with how these worked out!

- his head spike-- ceasar had this going on in previous volumes, but it will be more singular in FM, likely. note: I also get a "hair spike" irl in my own hair from time to time lol

- the black part on the back looking like WATER! I only realized this since starting FM, but that part of his hair DOES kinda look like water! so depending on the shot / angle, can totally look like aqua 

- SECRET SHARKNIFE! This one I really like. Was having a hard time exactly figuring out how his BANGS should be-- eventually I did this method and realized it's basically exactly the silhouette of Sharknife's head lol. Totally works. Kinda a secret and fun easter egg 😎

FYI: My plan for releasing SHARKNIFE FM on Patreon is to do Patreon-specific CHUNKS, probably 5-10 pages, starting hopefully soon! 

Been planning the heck outta this (as is obv), so figuring out ENDGAME stuff for the story literally ripples back to the FIRST PAGES in the FIRST issue! Gotta get it all nailed down. BUT with room for free-form REYYY COMIX JAZZ, of course. I'm about ready to start laying down track, for reaaaalzzz. And the hope is to follow this NEWEST, MOST COMPLICATED SHARKNIFE / MY COMICS STORY, to it's conclusion, and have it be amazing 😎👍

Also, I will probably also continue breaking off SHORT STORY CHUNKS (like Dream Skills 2, and DEAD NAKED), in the following months for those at the 3$+ tier!
