AMS v0.9.5 (Public) Update, New Patron; Joshua the Joyous

Hey everyone :D

It's update day! I'm super fking tired too cause I've been busting my ass on this. So I'm going to let the changelog do the talking in regards to what you can find. But there are several new completed systems; Pregnancy, Lactation, Masturbation is basically finished and so on. Lots of new stuff to look forward to. If you've been following this on Discord you can attest for how much I've been working on this, haha! (I complain a lot). 

Before we jump into that though I get to welcome a brand new patron who actually joined almost a week ago! >.< Egads! That's the longest I've ever not greeted somebody and I feel absolutely awful about it. I was going to shoot him a quick message but I kept getting side-tracked with either the game or real life and then it got too close to the release so I figured I'd wait until today. But still, I shouldn't have waited, please forgive me Joshua! Do not condemn me ;.; ! With that said though, we have a brand new patron joining the Apoca-Ville---meet Joshua (the very just and forgiving ^_^;;). Now then! Here's the changelog. Keep in mind I tested every aspect of the new stuff that I could and as thoroughly as I could but that doesn't mean I caught all the bugs or wonky scripts. So if you see something bizarre let me know and I'll fix it! Thank you for all the support thus far too from each and every one of you, it's a pleasure to be making this game for all of you! -Fixed this Error running script: Error evaluating expression 'ListContains(game.verbattributes, attr)': ListContains function expected list parameter but was passed 'null' This had to do with the beta version of Quest. This is now repaired in the newest version. 

- This was fixed when the player Loads the game from a previous game. Error running script: Error compiling expression 'o': RootExpressionElement: Cannot convert type 'Object' to expression result of 'Element'

- More changes here than I can possibly or reasonably list with several of the libraries dealing with Save/Load. Again, thank you K.V!

- Fixed this error when refusing to take Rold’s Hand in his Initial Conversation dealing with Staying Silent. Error running script: Error compiling expression 'result "Hell No"': SyntaxError: Unexpected token ""Hell No"" <STRING_LITERAL>; expected one of <EOF>Line: 1, Column: 8

- Fixed this error when trying to Attack Rold. Error running script: Error compiling expression 'goblinesque man.dead=False': CompareElement: Operation 'Equal' is not defined for types 'Object' and 'Boolean'

- Rold now properly follows you if you Attack him or Hannah. 

- Hannah and Rold’s dead bodies now won’t follow you around after you’ve slain them!

- Fixed a big stream of errors in the Word Processor for the Pregnancy System; specifically in the “baby kick area”. I think this was happening because the Pregnancy Dildo item didn’t specify what race you were pregnant with. This has been changed. See the Other Category. 

- The Recall Button was still draining Player Health once they reentered the Withered Snag because it thought the player was still outside. I tested this several times and it seems completely fixed now! Let me know though if anything wonky happens. Keep in mind this item DOES break the sequencing of events so it’s inevitable that a few things may go awry when using it. 

- Fixed a scripting error with the Pregnancy System. 

- Fixed several errors in the Pregnancy System, particularly in the Text Processor. I also fixed several grammar mistakes and oddities as well. 

- Fixed an error with the Birthing Sequence as the Player couldn’t name their babies properly which threw an error and prevented the script from moving forward. 

- Fixed some errors in the Pregnancy System regarding the Player having clothes on or not. I switched the descriptions by accident :D All fixed. 

- Because of the sheer size of the script with the Pregnancy System in which you find out if you have a Single Child, Twin, Triplets or Quadruplets, I’ve removed random scenarios from that section and left it unique per race with one outcome. It reduced the script by like 30,000 words. I have the extra saved though for later, once I want to add them back in. But it should reduce the strain on Quest when running that particular line and it makes finding errors easier. 

- I worked out some errors that were happening with the Pregnancy System when you tried to name your children. This is because I didn’t have the scripts in the right place. 

- Fixed "Error running script: Error compiling expression 'this': Unknown object or variable 'this' in relation to the CharmRelation Function which deals out the extra NPC Relationship Points based on certain variables. 

- Fixed a Text Processor Error with Hannah’s description regarding her status as dead/alive. Apparently I can’t spell :P 

- Fixed several errors with all the new Bathroom Items and Descriptions. Just minor stuff really. 

- Fixed a couple of errors regarding the Quest 2 reiteration. After testing it a couple of times it seems to be working perfectly. 

- Fixed this when trying to Masturbate, Error running script: Error compiling expression 'player.breastsize>=3': CompareElement: Operation 'GreaterThanOrEqual' is not defined for types 'String' and 'Int32'

- Fixed this typo “tree stuck to the high heavens” to “tree stunk to high heavens”

Transformations
- The Cursed Black Satin Maid Outfit’s main description has been remastered and so has the wear description which now includes all the races. Subsequently, this means that the Uncursed Satin Maid Outift’s main description and wear descriptions have been remastered as well. I’ve also reworked/remastered all of the Outfit’s Transformation messages/sequences. They include more information and take in account other race changes that you might be while undergoing the transformations. They also include Mouth, Tail Removal, Horn Removal transformations too. I got about halfway through it and stopped at the Hip Transformation.

Stats
- I’ve updated the READ ME FIRST dialogue and the Help Guide’s description about the Player Charm Skill. It should be working 100% now as I’ve placed its new function in all of the current Relationship Point spots. Escort and Suave Relationship Points will stack with these but only with NPCs where looks/appearances matter. 

- I’ve added Resist to long term transformation items, specifically the Cursed Butler Uniform, the Cursed Maid Outfit and the Cursed Cow Necklace aka the Ornate Necklace. There is a 3% chance per turn that the transformation items will whittle down your Resist which is roughly between 4-15 turns maybe some times longer than that and sometimes shorter. But it does give you a significantly longer time to find a Decurser to help you and keeps you from immediately transforming ^_^ When you get the prompt, it means you’ve lose -1 Resist. 

- You now only lose -2 Maximum Health when you lose all your Health during Regular Difficulty and the normal -3 Maximum Health during Noble Difficulty.

Sex
- The Pregnancy Dildo now asks which race you’d like to impregnate yourself with! Let me know how it works and if it fixes the errors within the Pregnancy System which deals with the kicking. 

- I split Pregnancy into two different scripts because the entire thing was 280,000 words and it was making Quest die. If you notice any weird discrepancies with it, please let me know so I can fix it. This should help to significantly reduce lag with these particular scripts.

- I’ve completed the Birth Script for Pregnancy. It’s probably LOADED with errors and bugs though so you guys will have to help me find them. First, the script takes into account whether you have Gave Birth before. Then it takes into account whether you are pregnant with one child, Twins, Triplets or Quadruplets---each of which you can name. From there each baby will have a 50% chance to be your Race or 50% chance to be the father’s Race. Then it’ll take either your Hair and Eyecolor or it’ll be randomly generated depending on the Race you’ve given birth to. Each race has a specific way they give birth; sometimes you’ll even lay Eggs (with nagas, bees, driders and so on). Based on your Intelligence it’ll then figure out what the baby’s intelligence will be whether it’s Feral or Sentient. Feral means it’ll be released into the wild when it comes to age. Afterward, it figures out what your Corruption is which will directly affect what your baby’s Alignment will be. The script also takes into account if you’re Horny or not, or if your Lust is above a certain level. This will change the presentation of the Birthing. This concludes the Female Pregnancy Scripting. After you have given Birth, you’ll have either a 50% chance to reduce your Breastsize by one size, a 35% chance to reduce it by two sizes and a 25% chance to reduce it three sizes. The same happens for your Butt and your Weight. Giving Birth also increases your Hipsize by one or a 75% chance to increase it by two with three or more babies (ie.triplets). You’ll also get back all the stats you lost, +5 Agility. Whew. The whole Birthing script is about 19,000 words. ^_^ But now Pregnancy is completely finished. Here is the Turnscript Guide for it. This particular one shows the Highest Fertility.

- I’ve added a new category to the Masturbation Scripts: Secondary. They are listed below:

There is one Masturbate Scenario left in the Secondary Choices and the Orgasm Script left to do (you can still use these choices to Orgasm right now). So far the new Stimulate Yourself, Stimulate Your Ass, Let Your Mind Wander, Use A Sex Toy, Stimulate Your Nipples, Play With Your Boobs and Imagine Being Dominated option(s) have 2-3 randomized text descriptions for both Males and Females. Some depend on Horniness, some depend on Orientation, Race, Gender, whether or not you’re Lactating or have Given Birth and several other variables as well. 

- You now gain +1 Lust if you’re Horny during Masturbation. 

- I had to add a variable for a Single Child because of the way the Pregnancy Scripts were set-up. This requires me to rewrite small parts of them! No biggie though, I half expected it and it only affects two scripts. 

- I’ve begun adding the Lactation Scripts; right now it takes in to account the Player’s Race, specifically Cow-Taur, High-Demon, Goo and Bee-Taur (these particular ones have special messages/outcomes from Lactation. It also takes into account Breastsize as well. The entire script is 300 Turns as well. Every 50 however will show a message. I’m looking to add in some options regarding the Lactation Scripts next. You have the option of Massaging Your Breasts or Not; Massaging them will result in the actions listed below. Not massaging them however has a 5% chance to Increase Your Breastsize. These scripts take into account whether or not you have a Top on as well.
Cow-Taur: 50% Chance to Start Previous Script Over (means more lactation), 50% Chance to Increase Breastsize and a 33% chance to Increase Breastsize Again. 50% Chance to lose -2 Intelligence. You also gain +5 Health.
High-Demon: 50% Chance to get Horny, 33% Chance to Increase Breastsize and a 25% Chance to Increase Breastsize Again, 50% Chance to gain +3 Corruption. You also gain +5 Health. 10% Start Previous Lactation Script Over Again.
Goo: 50% Chance to gain +1 Lust, 25% Chance to Decrease Height and Weight and a 20% Chance Decrease Height and Weight again, 50% to gain +1 Agility. You also gain +5 Health. 10% Start Previous Lactation Script Over Again.
Bee-Taur: 25% Chance to get Butt-Pregnant with Unfertilized Eggs (once Secondary Pregnancy is Added), 50% Chance to lose -1 Resist, 50% Chance to lose -3 Corruption. You also gain +5 Health. 10% Start Previous Lactation Script Over Again.
All Other Races: 10% Chance to Increase Breastsize and a 5% Chance to Increase Breastsize Again. 10% Start Previous Lactation Script Over Again. You also gain +5 Health.

- Added a Toy for Masturbation in the Downstairs Shower of the Withered Snag. It’s magical and will change to adapt the needs of the Player which is dependent on the Player’s Gender. Stim Hole for Males and Dildo for Females (this one cannot get you pregnant). This item is not a physical item you carry around but if you have the Toy either from this location (or later on other ones), the Masturbation Prompt, Use A Toy will appear for the player. 

- The Masturbation Option, Use A Toy now appears if you have an actual Toy to play with.

- Penis and Vagina Verb Tables have been updated. If you notice any funky ones though lemme know!

- Asexual Orientations can no longer Masturbate since by definition they apparently don’t have the drive for sex or copulation at all! Let me know what you guys think about this. I have added messages corresponding to the reason why you can’t Masturbate with if you are asexual and I got it wrong just let me know and I will change the messages. Asexuals can also no longer gain Lust or get Horny either even in the Dominant Mood of Sexy/Sarcasm.

Travel
- You can now Toggle Between the Compass and important Commands by clicking on their respective buttons and/or typing Compass or Toggle Compass. Thanks for the help on that KV!

Other
- I’m currently working on the Rold Attack scripts which probably won’t be all that different from one another. It has a variable about whether or not you have Met him and it takes Corruption variables into account. It also takes into account whether or not you’ve attacked, or killed Hannah as well. Like Hannah’s scripting, it will change the descriptions based on whether or not you’re carrying a weapon or going bare-handed. I do NOT recommend the player attacking Rold though but if you insist, the script is nearly finished. Attacking Rold while you know him also leads to a new scenario where you are thrown into a Cell until the events of the black out occur. This path is currently incomplete. But it will continue on as if you were standing next to Rold when the explosion happens that causes the blackout for now. Afterward, you will be prompted if you would like to see the rest of the content. I completed the written descriptions of attacking Rold while you don’t know him as well, this will prompt him and Hannah if she is alive to attack and follow you, although if you’ve already killed Hannah he’ll be hostile already. I’m not sure the writing is 100% up to par because I was super tired the day I finished it but let me know if you find any inconsistencies if you will!

- The Season in the beginning of the game now properly displays in the Waterhole based on what month your character starts in. 

- I’ve added a new Command to the game “Clear” which gives the player the ability to clear all the current text on the game’s screen. I’ve also added how to use it in the Game’s Help Guide Basic Commands Section. If you have any questions with it please let me know immediately. 

- Fixed a grammatical error in the Attack Rold scenarios where you already know him before attacking him. 

- I changed Grand Magister Rold Picksnap in his Initial Conversation to what it’s supposed to be Master Consecutionist Rold Picksnap. It’s a little thing but it matters a lot in this game’s world. 😊 

- Sandals have been replaced with a color of the Sandals, for example, Simple Sandals became Red Sandals. This will make it easier for the Save/Load System to make clones of those objects when you save. The same has been done for the Simple Sandals. They are now Light Brown Sandals. No stats or anything have changed for either of these objects. 

- I’ve continued Rold’s Initial Conversation, specifically the Question Him scenario. The Sarcasm Dominant Mood is now finished for both genders. It takes into account whether or not you’re Horny which affects how many Relationship points you get.

- Rold now has dialogue as he chases you throughout the Withered Snag and all the way to the Winding Wood room.

- Rold and Hannah now have their dialogue options; Talk To, Chat, Flirt, Attack on the character themselves. Basically what that means is when you click a character all of their dialogue options will instantly show up. You don’t have to type “Flirt with goblinesque woman” anymore or anything like that. Super convenient! ^_^ This was important to figure out how to do because of companion characters. They aren’t confined to spaces anymore. Hannah and Rold will be for sure but this will allow you to talk to your companions anywhere, anytime ^_^

- Added the OST – Victory Sting and Victory Loop on a Quest Completion. Thank you Studio Cafofo for conducting it! 

- Removed “Flirt, Chat, Attack” options from Hannah’s description as they are no longer needed. 

- The Help Guide, Basic Commands has been updated. 

- The Help Guide has been overhauled and streamlined. Some information has been updated and/or fixed to be easier to follow. If any of the Selection Choices are broken, let me know too. They are probably very quick fixes. I only tested a couple. 

- The Sink in the Downstairs Bathroom of the Withered Snag has been entirely redone simply because I wanted to remove the modern feel of it and replace it with a more magical feel. You can no longer Turn It On or Turn It Off, but you can Use It and Fill Your Containers with it still. You can also Drink it now and doing so will have a 25% chance to replenish +1 Health. I hope this helps to create more immersion into the world. 

- The Toilet in the Downstairs Bathroom of the Withered Snag has been entirely redone, again simply because I wanted to make it feel more immersive and not technology contradicting to the settings that the player is currently surrounded by. I removed the Flush Verb and rewrote both the main description of the object and the Icky Sticky Verb too. 

- The Shower in the Downstairs Bathroom of the Withered Snag has been entirely redone simply because I wanted to remove the modern feel of it and I replaced it with a more typical but primitive shower. I also removed the Open and Close door functionality since it’s no longer needed, rewrote all the descriptions therein and added a special prompt for Sexy/Sarcasm Dominant Moods which allows you to obtain a Magical Toy to play with during Masturbation. This Toy changes to adapt your Gender’s needs so it’s a Dildo for Females (which cannot get you pregnant) and a Stim Hole for Males.  

- The Tub in the Downstairs Bathroom of the Withered Snag has been entirely reimagined because again, I wanted to remove the modernish feel of the room. It’s now been replaced with a rounded wooden soaker tub! I also removed the Turn On And Turn Off functionality since it was no longer needed, nor did it make sense. It has kept the Intelligence variables. 

- The main description of the Downstairs Bathroom in the Withered Snag has been modified to reflect all the changes mentioned above!

- The main description of the Upstairs Bathroom in the Withered Snag has been modified to reflect all the new changes coming to the Upstairs Bathroom. I also added in a variable about whether or not the Player has noticed that the Upstairs Sink doesn’t have a bubble/orb of water floating above it as well which will be necessary for starting the puzzle from now on.

- The Upstairs Toilet in the Withered Snag has had a make-over! Like with the other Toilet it now doesn’t contain water or mention of modern pipes. The Flush Verb has been removed from it. 

- The Upstairs Sink in the Withered Snag has had a reimaging. I also added and changed the second Quest and put it on the Sink now. All you have to do is look at it. But there’s a catch. If you haven’t visited the Downstairs Bathroom and looked at the Sink there, your character won’t know something is amiss with this Sink (missing its orb of water). But after you’ve inspected the Sink Downstairs, return to the Upstairs and Look At the Sink again. The game will then prompt you about trying to fix it. Everything else about the Quest remains the same. You’ll still need the Spellbook and at LEAST an Intelligence of +7 to use the Spellbook to fix it. Afterward, you should be able to Use the water freely. The main description of the Sink has changed as well. 

- The Upstairs Tub has been completely redone and de-modernized. I also removed the second Quest from the Tub and put it on the Sink as explained above. The verbs from the Tub have been removed as well. When you look at it, you might just discover another denizen of the Withered Snag too! But who knows! :P This should conclude both of the bathrooms being de-modernized and fixed up. 

- I added some hints in the Sink of the Upstairs Bathroom about how to activate the second part of the Quest once you have seen the Downstairs Sink’s Water Orb. Hopefully that’ll make it easier to figure out. Let me know though!

- The UI for the game has been updated. I just wanted to thank KV for helping me with the things I didn’t know how to code. But you’ll see that the UI (particularly on the right side where the Status, Surroundings and Inventory is has been shortened significantly and even more so if you decide to minimize the compass. There are also quick shortcut commands at the top right; Character, Stats, Quests, Save and the Help Guide. I hope these will help to improve the game’s UI and to streamline everything in a neater little bow. 

- The Help Guide has been updated again to reflect the Command changes to the UI. 

- I added some text at the end of the initial scripts of the Rolling Hills escape to help the Player with their directional options in case some were confused. Thanks for the suggestion Couladin.

- Added “Look ObjectNameHere” for more convenience for looking at things, including yourself.
