Added 2018-02-03 19:43:39 +0000 UTCSo I had an idea that I've discussed with the spouse and came up with something that you guys are either going to love or going to hate. But I would to know what you guys think of it. The idea is condensing all the rewards from $1-30 down to $1-10. So $10 would get you the maximum reward. This occurred to me the other night when a donator mentioned that they were having financial troubles and I thought to myself, I'm only causing this person more financial burden which to me doesn't make any sense (especially since they use the game or games in general for a getaway). Sure, running the game is a business of sorts but I want to bring a quality game to life that people don't have to give an arm and a leg for. Yes, I depend on the income of the game now for financial stability but I think this will be better in the long run. Smaller numbers are easier to maintain for both patrons and myself.
So that was an idea, what do you guys think about it? Is it fair to reduce the maximum cost of rewards down to ten so that more people can afford the rewards they wish to have? Or should I keep it where it is? This would also mean any of you who have surpassed the maximum number would now get all the rewards.

I believe many of your Patrons (including myself) donate more to support you and the game than for the rewards, so I don't find this decision to be unfair to previous supporters. A lower cost may also entice those who just want to make one donation to get the benefits. Getting $10 is better than getting nothing from those who don't want to spend $30 on it, after all. The $10 maximum would do well to draw in any one-timers that just want the benefits and help out those with financial troubles. Anyone looking to support the game's development will most likely still make monthly donations no matter the reward cost.
