Hotfix!

I posted a Hotfix just now with the following changes....

 - Fixed not being able to give the Dark Brown Box to Rold. Apparently, I marked the wrong box! Oops! I also needed to change up the coding of the box considering the way the Duplication System works. You now need to “Give” the box to Rold once you return to the room. I’ve tested it a few times and it works perfectly now.

 - I eliminated some old script which read, "Your pockets are absolutely full! Try putting something in your backpack for safe keeping..." and I changed it to “You’re overburdened” so as not to confuse the player.

 - Fixed the grammar in having your Sexuality increased. You’re to Your. “You're experience with Hannah has increased your homosexuality.”

 - Added the name of Quest 1: Withered Residents and Quest 2: Waterworks to the dialogue of receiving the quest. This essentially replaces the older messages.

Let me know if it works! Appreciate you guys!

1. Quest 4 is a long term optional quest for the Whispering Thicket area. If you notice in the descriptions through Sudden Death which lead up to the cliff-side, the character (the player) will see a very, very thick plume of smoke rising very, very far away. So the quest is about getting to that point and finding out what is there and why. Each area of the game will essentially have a long term, optional quest which is meant to drive the player forward. But, if you look back a few posts you'll see a simple v1.5 map of the Whispering Thicket (which is color-coded), you'll notice rooms branching off to the far right and the far left---meaning that those rooms springboard you to another entirely different area. That's why I say "optional" as you don't have to follow the conventional quest-line to reach a destination. But in short, currently, you cannot finish that quest. I hope that answered all your questions and comments thus far ^_^

1. Yeah, that is a new error I believe with the current experimental Quest. You can no longer use "this" as a reference to an object in their description. So I have to go back through again and adjust all of that. I needed to do it anyway since the zombies need some actual descriptions lol. I want to experiment with it though and base their appearance on the health they have left, like I did with the Hallow's Shroud (Halloween) content. That should be fun. 2. Keep in mind the game is 34,500 lines of code and 700k words. If those are the only glaring errors, most of which is being caused by the experimental version of Quest, you have to admit that isn't too bad. It does make combat a pain in the ass though, I admit. As soon as the errors are fixed though, I'll release a hotfix of the current version so that's it playable. I just need some time to narrow down the problems :) Thank you for bringing them up though as a lone developer, I sometimes don't get to test and retest content that I've added or changed simply because if I did, nothing would get done for weeks at a time. So I rely on people catching these bugs and reporting them. It's much appreciated.

1. Yup, I'm looking into those new errors now. Those are new for this version. That's game making for you though, whenever you add something or change something, sometimes it breaks another aspect of your game, so it's constant of going back through and refixing things and readjusting things all the time. It's a major pain. Hopefully, those errors will be fixed by the time the Patron Beta rolls around again.

Glad to see you so active. I appreciate the bug reports too! 1. Yes, you can control the font size displayed. Type "guide" or "hg" or "help guide" and locate the "Font Size Category". From there, you can input the size you wish it to be. ^_^ 2. The Save Feature is something that's still being worked on. No other Quest game has it. What it does is essentially allows the player to play from one version to an updated version without having to completely start over. Quest does have a built in save system but it's only for the version that your playing, meaning saves aren't compatible if that game updates a lot, like mine. So there are still bugs being worked out in it. 3. After the message "BEYOND THIS POINT IS UNFINISHED CONTENT. CHECK BACK SOON." in the Laboratory Landing---all of that content is writing and story that I have not remastered yet (meaning added a male character version/moods/variables) to it. Like Hannah and the rest of the house and the area outside, Rold and the Laboratory are my next big remasters and will be updated very soon. Area's like the cells are going to produce an error or two because all the code around them have been changed since those aspects were written. But I promise it's coming soon ^_^ There are a lot of BIG things being added to that area; alchemy/potion making table, Aaleahya fleshed out as a character and companion, the cells and interactive creatures there which will change per playthrough, there's also going to be a lot of big changes to Rold and sex scenes added for him depending on your dominant mood and your responses, and several other things, including the ending of the tutorial area and the beginning of Quest 3. 4. The box has a verb on it now that says "Give" have you tried that? I might have to make it more obvious, but I just checked the version and the event and it worked :) 5. "Entice" is something that the new Quest version affected---otherwise it would just say "Placeholder" for most of the responses (this next update will be dedicated to getting some of those written and expanding the fiive new rooms in the forest and beginning the remastering of the Laboratory). Onto the next questions!

How to finish "Quest 4: Smoke Signals" ? "Search" command doesn't find anything in the forest areas.

Artem

"Look at" zombie prints this: The male zombie has {this.health} health left! Gosh... there are so many bugs, the game is not playable at all despite it has some content :(

Artem

attack Lustful Male Zombie after trying to "entice" him leads to these errors: Error running script: Error compiling expression 'player.equipped.damagebonus - this.defense': ArithmeticElement: Operation 'Subtract' is not defined for types 'Int32' and 'Object' The zombie wildly swings it's fists and crashes both of them down on the top of your head, which sends you stumbling backwards in agony!

Artem

Is there a way to control font size? Save function still works only once for me (in the beginning). Can't save later in the game. Search command on Cell #6 in Rold's dungeon leads to "Error running script: Error compiling expression '': SyntaxError: Unexpected end of fileLine: 1, Column: 1" Still can't give the box to Rold. "It does not want it." Maybe you've uploaded a wrong version?.... "Entice" on zombie: "Error running script: Object reference not set to an instance of an object." Not clear how this command works at all (if works at all...). Zombies don't do any turns when I choose "entice" and I see only "placeholder" words.
