The story is great but due to reading it again in one go it started to develop plot holes and inconsistencies. Like the fact Harry already put a point in halberds already to eliminate the speed penalty. Or the time needed for fishing to grant a wisdom point growing from 20 to 24 hours. The biggest plot hole in previous chapters was that the smith after making a very big deal out of his rule that ready made goods prices are final started suddenly haggling. Haggling for the Ankheg plate armor was the exception as it wasn't yet made. Another plot point that seems to be ignored is the Oath to the priest. He wanted Harry's group out so part of that path was that in hours (I think 2) after finishing the Oath to Vai they were to leave town and never to return.

2026-01-07 01:37:11 +0000 UTCEnjoyed the chapter. I have one little nitpick... you have Hary refer to Tom Riddle. However, I don't think Hary learns Voldemort's real name until the end of book 2 and he was sucked through the computer at the beginning of book 2
