Brief, annoying announcement

So some bad news guys.  Won’t go into details, but for reasons out of my control I will be essentially moving in to help with a major refurbishing project and babysitting my little niece. I honestly have no idea how much time I will have to myself until next Wednesday, let alone time I can turn towards writing.

Coupled with this is the fact that in the past five days since I started working on it, I have come to the realization that it's been too long since I wrote FILFy, I need to reread all the past bits of violence Harry’s been involved in, i've forgotten this versions combat abilities/style.  The same goes for combat specific abilities from his enemies. Because of that, I've only gotten the noncombat scenes and the Hero Faction vs Yubeluna’s team finished.  That’s only like… twelve thousand words all told, in what amounts to five days.  Not good.  The Harry/Yasaka vs Akhenaten/Nefertiti fight is… it’s fighting me, as is what little I want to show of the Rivezem-Sirzechs confrontation.  Even the banter in that one is wrong and cringy, ugh.

With all that, and the fact I do not want work on FILFy to interfere with the other fics this month, I’ve decided to work on FILFy only on my own time.  I will probably still finish it this month or swiftly into the beginning of October, but it won’t be out this month, not edited anyway.  Given how little work I can get done this week, I think the only HP fic I could finish without pushing into time I’d prefer to use for the Patron Only and Ranma poll winners this month is Fate.  Mainly because I’d already written out the Aragorn segment back for the last chapter, but wasn’t happy with it at the time.  Rewriting that and writing up the rest of the chapter will be easy in comparison to how much effort it’s been taking me to write in FILFy. I should have that chapter finished and posted here by Sunday night.

I'm sorry if this seems as if the latest HP vote didn't matter, but that is the breaks, guys.

In other news, I've seen some of you have made comments on various stories here recently. I will be responding to those tomorrow. I may also post a few pictures to go with some of the fics, and I've also found the person whose appearance most matches Daphne for Going off the Rails when I go into that fic full time. Yes, I am a guy. Oof. So far out of my league, but ooof.
