Short Story: Warm Comforts

Well, here it is! A nice, warm, fluffy story for these cold days and nights. This took a bit of work, and went through a number of drafts, but it came out pretty well if I do say so myself. And quite long! Over 7k words, but consider it an extra gift for the holiday season.
Getting to the end of the month soon, so keep in mind we'll be holding another round of suggestions for new shorts in under a week. Get those thinking hats on, and we'll see your ideas for a story to ring in the new year!
