The trouble with sirens was they fell in love easily.
Passionately.
Obsessively.
Just a glance and their hearts would start racing and they knew they had to have their latest love.
They would sidle up and start whispering sweet nothings in their darling's ear.
Their tentacles stroking their beloved.
Their sonorous voice filling their new lover's mind with thoughts of love. Of desire. Of need to sweep a gorgeous octopus-girl into their arms. Carry her off to the bedroom.
Where she would adore them.
Kiss them.
All the while her sweet song and words tenderly reminded them that they loved her.
Adored her.
Forever.
And ever.
And evermore...
