Persona 4 Regression ULTIMAX! Part 4
Added 2022-02-11 15:20:49 +0000 UTCChie had a hard time accepting the help her mother provided. The change at her apartment had been bad enough, leaving her a bashful blubbering mess by the end who had a hard time forming sentences. However, she couldn't deny that she was glad to be changed into a fresh diaper. Still, she remained on the floor with her hands covering her face in embarrassment.
“I can’t believe that just happened…” she groaned, writhing in distress on the ground. A rustling sound pulled her attention back to her mother who was standing with a bag in her hand, looking at her daughter expectantly. Chie’s curiosity was piqued and she cocked her head looking at the shopping bag in her mom’s hand.
“What’s that?” Chie asked, propping herself up on the changing mat.
Mrs. Satonaka reached into the bag, pulling out something thin and green. “It’s your new uniform.” she said sternly.
Chie inquired about what she meant or where she’d even obtained such an outfit but she was shushed as the onesie was pulled over her head.
“Mom!” she shouted through the material surrounding her head, “Who even makes baby clothes this big?”
Mrs. Satonaka didn’t answer outright, she just kept pulling the outfit down over Chie’s body and shushing her protests. Because of her obscured sight, Chie was acutely aware of her mother’s hands pulling at the material and dancing over her body at the same time. It tickled slightly and caused the short-haired tomboy to giggle.
She was wrapped in the cloth cocoon for a mere moment but when Chie’s head emerged it was like she was breaking the surface of the water after a deep dive–something was different. It wasn’t just the change of clothes, though those did make a drastic difference.
Instead of her police uniform that radiated authority, she was wearing a green onesie that clung tightly to her body. Around the waist a tutu poofed out, its ruffly material sticking out in barely farther than her new extremely puffy diaper. Her mother tugged at the thin cotton below her tutu, adjusting it to close around the padding. When the snaps of the crotch clicked shut, she could feel the diaper pressed close to her, hugged tight by the stretched cotton. There wasn't even an inkling of adulthood in such an outfit, let alone authority.
“That diaper is barely contained underneath those snaps,” Mrs. Satonaka commented, “Maybe I should have asked for a size larger…”
Chie herself was silent, almost as if she was basking in the moment. Her abilities to speak and the reason were lost and she’d been completely at the mercy of her mother’s grasping hands after being shushed. Only when Mrs. Satonaka stepped away did Chie regain her grip on her emotional faculties
“Well what do you think?” Mrs. Satonaka asked.
“I-I uh, I don’t…” Chie couldn’t find the words to describe how she felt about the outfit. Part of her raged against the idea of having to wear baby clothes but another part didn’t mind so much. She felt a part of her was relaxed, accepting of the situation.
“Why not?” she wondered, “I already had to buy diapers because I can’t hold it.”
“Stop thinking that way!” she whispered out loud, scolding herself for falling into such an intrusive thought pattern.
Mrs. Satonaka looked at Chie with concern. “What was that?” she asked.
Chie blushed realizing her out loud slip up. “Nothing…” she said, “So what does this 'uniform' go to, are we going somewhere?
Mrs. Satonaka nodded, taking her adult daughter’s hand in hers without saying a word.
Now, as she stepped through the halls of Yasogami High’s practice building, Chie regretted not putting up more of a fight. In the short drive to her old high school, she noted the route seemed familiar and started to reject the idea when her mother pulled up to the school building.
“Mom, what are we doing here?” she asked.
“This is where we’re going. I talked to your boss and we found out about a program here. It’s supposed to help people who’re having the same problems you are.”
Chie felt a shout rise in her throat while adrenaline coursed through her veins: she was ready to break out and make a run for it, calling on her instincts gained from fighting in the T.V. world. “Oh hell no!” she shouted, “You can’t make me go in there, I’m an adult!”
“An adult would keep her pants dry,” Mrs. Satonaka retorted, “now calm down so we can go inside!”
Something about the commanding tone of Mrs. Satonaka’s voice made Chie’s rebellious spirit crumble under her harsh words. She glowered in her seat, frowning heavily while she waited for her mom to let her out.
Because of her previous outburst, she was led by the hand through the practice building of Yasogami High. It was after the normal school hours so only a handful of students hung around the building but all of them focused on Chie immediately.
“Wow, another one?”
“Haha look at that girl, she’s dressed like a giant baby.”
“Isn’t that Officer Satonaka?”
Her cheeks burned bright red from the unrelenting teasing around her, but she dared not try and pull away from her mom again, fearing the harsh words that would cause her to regress into the mindset of a scolded toddler.
Their walk ended at a sliding door in the middle of a long hallway, the sign up above read: “Preschool.”
Chie looked at her mother confusedly but didn’t get the chance to say anything. Any comment she had was overshadowed by the sight that graced her eyes when her mom opened the door.
On the other side she saw a familiar girl with long dark hair wearing an outfit just as infantile as hers. It was a pink short dress outfitted with bows and frills. The skirt did nothing to cover the stained, lumpy padding dipping well below its hem.
Chie locked eyes with her longtime friend, trying to make a connection that portrayed her worry about the situation. “Yukiko!?” she said.
“Chie-chan!” Yukiko cried cheerfully.
