To pause or not to pause

Billing has remained paused since before the summer when I started to have issues keeping chapters coming. In that time there have been issues due to the pause with Apple Pay users and returning members being unable to resubscribe and losing access to chapters that have affected a few of you.
Ultimately, I’d like to end the pause soonish, but I also want your input on the matter.
There is also the issue of extra chapters for the youngling and kobold tier members, right now everyone is receiving an extra eight chapters (soon to reach the promised nine, hopefully tomorrow, but maybe Thursday), at some stage (I also need to figure out how to properly do the tiered access thing, I thought it was schedulable but it might be a manual control, which kinda sucks) I’ll need to delay chapters by tier so that I’m finally delivering on what I have promised.
So please share your thoughts on all of this, I’ll have to make a decision by Thursday.

I say keep it paused because it would be good to prove that you're back for at least a few weeks. Nothing agrivates me more on patreon than joining and finding out the author isn't as far ahead in chapter content as they advertise in their membership options. You at least give reasonings, but I hate the ones who come back and start writing like we should just be grateful and no explanation is needed. It pisses me off but you at least do a decent job keeping us updated. Keep it up.

2025-09-16 15:03:03 +0000 UTCI’m personally not super bothered either way, though if I had to choose I’d say to keep it paused until you’re back to 3/week. That said, I’ll stick around either way so it’s really up to you.
