could you check how much FPS you have when using the skill ? some skills won't work properly if used with low fps, that may be an explanation also do you have a heavily modded setup ? in some cases some skills won't work properly with too many mods installed honestly can't think about anything else, i've tried the skill plenty of times on my end and i didn't experience such a problem
