Dungeondraft Assets - October/November 2020

DOWNLOAD HERE

UPDATE - Arri has very generously spent some of his free time adding basic tagging to these sets. I have replaced them in the download folder linked above.

He has also asked me to include the following message:

'Hi! I am putting these together and sharing not because I am best suited/"the" authority on doing so, but simply because DD has become my map making software of choice, and I will personally want them in when using it. So, by popular request I have started adding WEBP conversions, along with the original PNG files that I prefer. I don't really use tagging myself, and don't have time to individually tag every file "properly" as that will be a time consuming task. That said, I will do a "basic tagging" so that the overall file packs show up as their pack names under the tagging system.

If anyone would like to start making these, and has the time to properly tag them, I am happy to relinquish the task, or, send them the packs I have made so that they can add tagging for the individual clutter images.'

If anyone else would like to help Arri out, or take over, for future packs please feel free to reach out to me.

Hi Everyone,

Arri has very kindly converted the last 2 months asset packs for your use in Dungeondraft! You can download them using the link above.

Please note that these were put together by a patron, so have not been quality checked by me, and there may be some bugs or inconsistencies in the packs. Leave any issues you may find in the comments below and if I am able to update them in the future I will take your comments on board.

You will not be charged for this post

Thanks for the suggestion Phil. I'll look into it.

Have you looked at EightBitz's tools for working with DD packs? https://github.com/EightBitz/Dungeondraft-Tools

I added the "main" tag line for the pack titles, so you will see them on the side. I make these as I would use them, with some understanding that other people have other needs/desires (I would never use the webp for myself, but a lot of people wanted them). That said, if someone has the time to "properly tag each item indivivdually, then I am happy to let them do so. As I have said elsewhere, if no one else is making them, then I will, since I will want them available when I DO go back to using DD. My only request, would be for someone to NOT take over, do a month, and then drop it forever, where I then need to go back however long to pick up the packs not yet converted. That is part of what happened here, actually, I was up too late doing this, and I had allowed multiple months to 'stack up', even though that was only 2 months worth.

I apologize, I haven't been using DD for months now, as my free time has utterly evaporated, and like a silly person I was up very late making these (kinda like what I am doing now, actually). I myself don't usually use tagging, I just type "weapon" for instance, in the search bar to bring up relevant results. I have sent new files with the tagging enabled (very basic tagging), but am perfectly happy to 'relinquish' making these. I am not doing it from a point of authority, but, if they are not being made by someone else, I am going to make them for myself, and at that point, it seems polite to share what I have.

Unfortunately, these don't exactly work with DD. The files are present, but they lack tags required for sorting, as well as previews, so if you want to find them you have to search for the files manually. I'm fixing them for myself and can provide the fixed versions, if that's possible.

Hi Robert, These packs are put together and kindly donated to the community by one of my patrons, and I don't use Dungeondraft myself, so I'm afraid I don't know how they are set up. Perhaps Arri might be able to provide and answer.

Are the assets in this release tagged like in previous releases? Typically your sets are tagged similar to "TC_Garrison", "TC_Library", etc. I didn't see any new TS packs when i added these assets to dungeon draft(and i made sure that i added the new packs to the map).

Shirkie

I am yet to use this asset pack, but it is a very welcome pack indeed as it was quite painful to assemble them myself
