Cultists Temple - Free Version

DOWNLOAD ZIP ATTACHED TO POST

Hello Travellers!

This weeks map is the first of our 'Imperator' Tier commissions. The Cultists Temple is based on the 'Temple of the Ebon Hand' from Monte Cook's 'Ptolus: City by the Spire'.

A seemingly harmless sect worships in the Temple above, but the local Guard Captain believes there may be connections to cult activity. As the party explores the temple, they will find a haphazardly furnished backroom concealing a trapdoor that leads to the tunnels and rooms below.

Will they attempt to sneak through, making their way past the common room, guards barracks  and torture chambers to find the proof they need, or will they attempt to convince the high priest that they wish to join the cult and be led to the Chaos Maze beyond to face their innermost fears. If they get caught, either in a lie or just in the wrong place, they may be taken to the Ritual Chamber and be forced to undergo 'the Changing'.

Use the link at the top of this post to download the free versions of this map. If you would like access to the high resolution, un-watermarked and gridless variants of this and other maps along with extra rewards, and would like to support me, check out my paid Patreon tiers!

Patrons also gain access to the night, hidden secrets and unfurnished versions, completing the adventure!

Great map! The Dark Brotherhood is also an assassin guild in Elder Scrolls, that fits this design. Did you happen to make a Room Info Key for this one? Thanks

Jay

Hi! These are inspired by the Ptolus book, but they are my own designs.

Tom, I'm really interested in doing more Ptolus maps. Did you have to get permission from Monte Cook Games to sell these maps, or is that allowed?

Hey Tom, big fan. Any way you can include the units on your description? That would make my life easier as a DM using your free content. Thanks.

The Pwnisher

Hi Glenn, thanks very much. I don't currently include descriptions for each room, I prefer to leave that to the imagination of the DM. I will be releasing monthly adventures soon though that will include this kind of detail.

Tom Cartos

I love this! Do Patrons get a detailed description of each room?

Glenn Kessler

Thanks John!
