passing by to show you my silly moodboards and references i have on pinterest, thought it would be cool.
im specially proud of Rain and Lena there, good stuff...i also have other monsters, handsome men, clothes....all the stuff.
honest question, is pinterest a good social media to post my art? i saw some artists talking about it and im not sure, i thought it was only for this kind of stuff...i dunno..

So while your art will get traffic, you may not get much credit for it. Unless it's posted to boards titled with the artist's name. Which I would definitely do. On a side note, thank you for sharing your mood boards I can definitely see your ideas and inspiration for your art. Love your process!

2022-03-29 01:27:49 +0000 UTCHonestly, I really don't loke Pinterest; it's a little too pushy for you to make an account, but also, it's harder than usual to find the original for a piece. Pinterest ISN'T interested in crediting the original artist properly.

Pinterest is a good place for sharing but you never know who will be plagiarizing other artists. Better safe than sorry, right? Love your light mood-board, btw. Gives me ideas for my doodling 😄

For those who do love pinterest (I personally spend more time there than any other social platform) and aren't following your art, it could be a great place to access a potential broader fanbase. But it's all what you're comfortable with 😊 I have seen other graphic artwork posted there that has spurred me on to look at someones work closer, Yehuda Devir for one.

Pinterest is still cool like ripping out pictures in magazines, but I'm getting more ads than ever and it's getting annoying to the point I don't want to be on there long 🙃

2022-03-28 19:50:08 +0000 UTCI don't think Pinterest is a good platform for artists. I see sooo many photos with no real links or credits attached. I feel like it's only good for mood boards and idea lists. Definitely watermark your stuff. I know of one artist that uses a big watermark and a small hidden watermark (like their name in a person's hair or the folds of their clothing). The art thieves tend to miss the small watermark.
