Ep2 Progress Report #30

Hi.

You know, only on Sunday I stopped feeling discomfort in my gut caused by food poisoning. I've been to the doctor; spent all of last week at home on sick leave, because in addition to the poisoning, it turned out that I may have had COVID - this would explain the high fever that lasted with me for several days.

But to the point.

I started preparing renders where Kait and MC are having fun. I wanted to use new scenery for this. I bought the right asset for this from the daz3d store, but after more than an hour of working on this asset and various attempts to modify this scenery to suit my own needs, I gave up. Because of this, I had to rewrite the script a bit so that the action did not move to the new location. As for the dialogues, while working on this event, I did not have and will not have additional work—this pair does not get into a discussion because they are busy with each other.

I have also prepared the last location where the action will move, and in this location I will finish the event with Kait. I will show what I have planned, and after that, what's left is to finish the event with Fay.

Last Sunday I decided to put daz3d away; instead, I launched renpy and started testing different paths of Ep2 part 2. In this case, I do not need to have the corrected text by a proofreader because I check the conditions, and I just need that at a given point in the script the appropriate condition is set, followed by the display of the correct images. In addition to that, I have translated some dialogues, and I am nearing the completion of the translation of the entire event with Shanon. All the text from the event with Amanda I already sent to the proofreader.

What else.

Over this past week I had some time to think, and I came up with something like this:

The adventure of the main character with one of the ladies—Amanda, Kaitlin, Shanon, or Fay—will end after the weekend, on Monday, when the MC shows up for work. That, for me, will be the joint point at which all the paths will meet. I will finish part 2 of Ep2 as I planned, but I will start working on part 3 of Ep2 by bringing all the paths to a common point. I assume that I won't have to do a lot of renders, but it will be necessary to finalize some details resulting from what I showed in part2 of Ep2. This is not yet my final decision; plans may change.
