The general polarization fascinated me, and the YouTube algorithm began to push me down the wrong path. Chris’ channel played a part in steering me off of that path, which I’m very thankful for. I lean FAR to the left, but as soon as I see someone “on my team” acting the fool, I’m just as quick to scrutinize them as I am for someone who lies on the opposite end of the spectrum. Pressure creates diamonds, self-reflection forms a stronger person, and constructive (yet harsh) criticism strengthens your arguments when trying to sway someone’s vote.
