"Growing Up & Falling Down" - Chris Ray Gun: Snark Tank Solo

You asked me several questions and I decided to answer them! Today I talked a little about Halo (big surprise), how I knew college wasn't for me, my ah-ha moment in overcoming anxiety, and some introspective self reflection. This got a lot more real than I expected it to, in all honesty. This was originally recorded a few months ago but I held back on releasing it out of fear that it might be a bit too serious for a "Snark Tank" episode. I thought about re-recording it and making it funnier, but I think I have at least a handful of valuable insights in this meandering mess of an episode so I figure, why not? Inside the Psychos Studio w/ Chris Ray Gun starts now.

PS: Obviously, an older recording so there's info at the end that's outdated. Ignore it.

Derrick will answer your questions in one on one in June! Take care!

Always love some deep and raw and real Chris, preach bro

Saddest Substance (ok it MIGHT be cum)

Morbius, The Prequel: Beforbius

Chris’s Secret 3rd Ball

Chris speaking about editing makes me think he'd be the perfect guy to run the Truman Show

Hey Chris, I have a question for all 3 of you here until y'all post the June question thread, would y'all ever consider having a listen on a podcast? Like maybe a winner of a contest and as long as you get them? Idk thought it might be a fresh one off and people would like it

I was not expecting the episode to get so serious haha but it was a nice change of pace. And I'd have to agree with the "pushing 30" section. I'm basically the same age as you Chris, and I feel like I've grown more in my late 20s than any other time period so far. The expectations society puts on people in their 30s can be a bit harsh, but it's admittedly helped me finally become more of my own person than ever before

This was... my favorite episode by a long shot. I love y'all equally, but you should be really proud of this episode, Chris. Hats off to you!

I just want to point out that Lemon Snapple only has ~10g less sugar than the "candy" flavors so it really is not a significant difference. Either way you're basically drinking a soda

I meant to comment on the last episode, but I’m always a lurker so I forgot. I really appreciate these more introspective bits, I think it’s important to show that smallest amount of humanity every now and then to really ensure that when the camera is off you really are the same person. I’m sure that I speak for a fair amount of the audience when I say that this podcast is a highlight of my week, especially during the bad ones. It’s nice to see the people that I look up to have matured over time just like I have. Thank you guys for what you do.

At least Kovic made a good book after the drama.

Fun fact

Very genuine and relatable episode. Love to see it.

So Adam Kovic is to Chris like Bill Cosby is to black comedians.

As someone who LOVES editing more than life itself, Hearing you talk about how much you love editing warms my heart. Some of my classmates never know what they're doing for the most part and my film professors knew I was gonna do well (not to sound like I'm jerking myself off, just wanted to say it's funny how we've had very similar college experiences)

I wore my 3 sween moon shirt for a mothers day party and got weird looks for some reason

I know it's a comedy podcast but I honestly like getting to know you guys better in these solo episodes.
