October 2024 Drabble#2

Gabriel/Cassidy – vampire!Gabriel; monster hunter!Cassidy; virginal old man!Gabriel – Gabriel let the hunter into his castle as a joke. To have a nice change of pace and amuse himself. But the tables are turned on him rather quickly.

---

“You must be exceptionally daft not to be afraid.” Gabriel’s voice comes out as a scathing hiss, but his anger does not really pack the punch it usually does when he is being pushed back against a wall, one wrist caught in the young man’s grip, pushed up above his head.

Cassidy’s arm tightens around Gabriel’s waist, his grin lazy and all too charming as he pulls his lower body tighter against him and presses his shoulderblades harder into the wall.

The bend he is put into is awkward and uncomfortable, but Gabriel can’t find it in him to pull out from underneath the rude young man.

Cole’s grin is just wide enough to make him look dumb but not enough to take away from just how handsome he is.

“Sure… but honestly, it’s difficult to be afraid when ya look so cute. Bein’ embarrassed an’ all.”

His drawl crawls through Gabriel’s body like poison. Sweet, thick poison that has what little blood he still has in his system rush and make him feel light headed.

He bares his fangs with a soft hiss but just like before, Cassidy does not look daunted by the display of aggression.

Quite the contrary. He looks intrigued, leaning further in until Gabriel can feel the human’s breath fanning against his lips. His heart jumps into his throat, thinking the other might kiss him. But just before their lips can meet, Cole turns his head a tad to the side, brushing against the corner of Gabriel’s mouth. He whispers: “Can’t believe nobody’s plucked you yet… you’re ripe for the takin’, aren’t ya? How long have ya been? Two hundred, three hundred years? With nobody takin’ care of that ache between your legs? Damn shame. Damn fuckin’ shame.”

Gabriel bristles. He wants to turn his head away but finds that he can’t. He is… weak. Because of the blood, of course. He has been dragging out his next feeding for too long.

“Do not be so crude in my presence,” he hisses, free hand clamping down on Cassidy’s shoulder to push him away. The other does not budge but from the expression on his face it takes quite a bit of focus on his part not to do so. Or maybe the pain of Gabriel’s sharp nails digging through his clothes is the culprit.

“Don’t be like that,” Cole croons softly. His breath is tickling Gabriel’s cheek, turning his insides hot and liquid like usually only blood can manage to make him feel. “You love it when I’m crude, don’t you? Go on, say it.”

Gabriel bares his teeth again, though it is just a weak twitch of his upper lip at this point. He should never have welcomed the young monster hunter into his castle. He should never have entertained the thought of playing with his prey before killing it.

Cole is getting under his skin.

And despite what he ordered, he does not give Gabriel a moment to even try and ‘say it’. He suddenly presses his mouth against Gabriel; warm and dry and the pressure enough to push his head back against the cold stone wall.

Gabriel shudders. He’s hyper aware of the fingers around his wrist and the hard body pressed against his.

He gasps; and is rewarded by a warm tongue slipping right past his lips.
