Game Update 9 Whispers of the Dark Elf(Chapter 1)

Hi Everyone,

Darthz here, along with chibi Marin, to share some exciting updates about my game. Crafting Update 9 took a bit longer since I didn't have much to showcase initially. However, I now have plenty of new content ready, which I'll outline by topics.

Character Redesigns and New Title Screen:

To start, I've updated the sprites for Tanya and Sephira. In comparison to my current drawing style, their old sprites felt a bit outdated. As for Kora, I've made her look younger than her Chapter 2 version. Just to clarify, I'm satisfied with Hilda and the rest of the characters and don't plan further changes for them. These updates have also inspired a new title screen, all of which will be featured in version 1.3.

Version 1.3 and Preview:

Version 1.3 is set to release in the first week of July. It will conclude Arc 2 of the game, featuring numerous new scenes and plot developments, particularly involving Sephira and the Glavius Event 2. I'm putting in a lot of effort to ensure this update is packed with exciting content. I've also released a preview for my Underground Boss tier patrons, which includes three scenes and additional features. You can check it out HERE (link to the preview).

About the New Scenes:

I'm currently focusing on creating longer, more animated scenes. However, I also plan to include shorter scenes, like the one with the queen from the 1.3 preview. These are simpler to produce and add variety to the game. I'm considering placing these scenes in a specific area within the Halls of Memory, though I'm still deciding on the details.

Combat Changes:

I've decided to scale back the frequency of combat in the game. Moving forward, battles will primarily occur during boss fights or other significant moments—no more annoying zombie skirmishes!

Looking Ahead:

Once Version 1.3 is fully released, I'll focus on the next update, continuing to bring fresh and exciting developments to the game.
