podcast/rant style audio - people insulting your hobbies

i know i am a bit late to the post, but i will never understand what some people get out of dragging other people down. Its so much more rewarding to build people up and see them do well. Then they have that spark in their eyes and that can you help. And bonus if you help them and be nice to them chances are that they will return the favour. Relationships should be 2 people fighting over who is more right but 2 people banding together, there is enough shit out there to fight.

I love hearing your thoughts on all different subjects,and I hope you do more talks like this. Also, I think you were exactly right about this guy and everyone else who does the same thing. He is insecure and trying to make you as insecure as he is. You were right to ignore it.

I really hate this sudden red flag phenonomena that has become more apparent lately. we used to just take into account these "red flags" and we note it down in our heads, nowadays people find a need to tell you about your own flaws. It makes meeting new people more volatile, having the need to thread lightly around others is just bleghhh

Sounds like he is a big red flag. Many men are intimidated by successful women. I'm glad you were able to channel this bad energy into this rather than letting it bring you down.

There's some cultures where people are told there will always be someone better than you since young. It's just the way it is sometimes :p. Still doesn't give other people the right to project their insecurities ofc.

That's so weird, i get the insecurities, I often feel that I'm never good enough! But when I'm with someone I really like, even if something comes off as a red flag, I have never outright pointed them out to them! Usually it's something I want to find out more! I've had people do that to me and I've found it as a kind of way of manipulation, which is ironic because that's a huge red flag in itself! You deserve better than that but I'm glad you've got a nice healthy outlook on it. I hope for the guys sake he looks inwards more before picking other apart. Love these little talks, I look forward to more in the future!
