MC Simulator - Weekly Development Progress #13

Hi everyone.

Sorry for the delay of the weekly post, I wanted to make sure that everything is working as it should before making this post.

Version 0.1.8 is almost ready. New features, new scenes and a revamped inventory system will be introduced in this next update.

Version 0.1.8 will be available between October 21 and 24.

Fishing

The new fishing mini-game is quite simple: You need to click on the fish before it changes position. There are two factors involved in this mini-game, the first one is how much the fishing gauge increases with each click and the second one is how long it takes the fish to change position.

About the new fishing equipment

Some fish are more difficult to catch than others, in those cases, upgrading your fishing equipment can increase your chances of catching them. 

For example:

New Inventory

Completely reworked the inventory system, this includes the rewards obtained after completing quests, the store, how items are displayed and in general how they work.

New item categories have been added along with filters.

New Equipment System

As I mentioned in a previous post, skills will be added in version 0.1.8, and their main purpose will be earning money.

You will be able to equip different types of equipment depending on the activity you want to do, these activities are linked to Skills.

For example: If you want to fish, you will require equipment that will make it easier to catch rarer fish. The more difficult a fish is to catch, the higher its selling price will be.

But if you want to cook, you will require another kind of equipment.
