New model type

Just two days ago, one of the projects I am involved in pushed out an update that I eagerly awaited since it meant that my AI models would become much better than they were before. It also meant that I now have a project similar to my "ModronAI" project that I don't need to think about anymore.

During the pre-launch party, I talked with one of the devs about AI models and how their project could enable services like KoboldAI to interact with their "service". During that time, we had a great discussion on the future of AI.

The thing that did stick was that the discussion evolved into an idea to develop a new type of model that was more "generalistic" rather than "specific". Something that resembled how our brain thinks and behaves rather than how we perceive the AI to function. And with that idea now firmly stuck in the back of my mind, I am thinking about how to get this done. The 2 main things that prevent me from building this though, are time & resources.

The base of this model lies in various advancements made over the last 2 years, mainly in the field of AI. With new models coming out at a fast and rapid pace and these advancements, I think it's time for a new model that can outsmart the ones out there. Note that I am not creating just "another" GPT model but rather something that will most likely also function in a robotic brain. It might even be a model that can become a possible foundation for a positronic brain.

What prevents me from sharing the concrete materials with everyone is that I am trying to get a proposal and a PoC for any potential investors to look at. At this moment, the math is all napkin material, so I need to flesh it out first, but when it's finally in progress, I might share some more information with you.
