Have you ever been hungry? Not like I haven’t eaten all day but multiple days without food. Your stomach, it gets used to being without food. If you give some one just a little bit of food then. It’s almost like torture. It’s excruciating. Just this tiny morsel of bread, no protein, no opportunity for sustenance. Just enough to hurt and remind you just how hungry you actually are.

Now imagine you’ve never felt love, not really. Then someone comes along. Like an angel. There love so pure. Just there existence itself made of love. Their soul. They can’t help it. They don’t know I don’t think. Just how rare they are…

“What is this foreign substance in the air? Why does it feel so good and yet hurt so much?” but it’s only a taste. Only a morsel. Then you must walk away. And your skin aches. It aches for what it has always longed for but forgot, never even knew existed here. On this Earth. Then you go through withdrawals. Your skin aches with hunger. You search, you attempt to replicate this substance. In this world at least where I live you can find crack, meth, alcohol, heroin available on every corner it seems. People just come up and offer you free samples. Its abundant. But this? Where the f*ck do you find this? What even is this?

At a chance for another morsel you flee. “Nope. Not again. Not happening.” It’s to painful to taste what you can not have. What you do not yet even understand. How can you miss what you have never known? Now that you know how can you ever forget? Just make a field to replicate it I suppose. A field of love so rare so special so powerful, it will leave you whistling even when you just got awful news. Enough for sustenance. An endless supply. Right at your fingertips. Don't forget to let in it.

But this feeling, this substance it’s the greatest thing I have ever felt sense sliding on through to this planet.
