Postponed: Vizor vs Freight

(I think this post is just for Vizor fans, tbh, as I'm in a babbling mood today..)

Well, this sucks. I've had to remove Vizor vs Freight from circulation because I've ran into massive technical problems with Vizor's skin!

For my new viewers; Vizor Tyro is one of my absolute classic characters, and she's been in comics for over 15 years. --- You know how I always end my posts with: "Discord, Patreon, Store & More; https://linktr.ee/labyssitory "? Well, if you click that link, go visit the archives, find Vizor's folder - you'll see just how much content she's been in.

The matierals used for Vizor's skin are VERY perticular. She's not just a woman with jet-white skin - her skin partially glows while reacting heavily to shadows. This is essentially a contradiction that took a lot of rigging to set up all those years ago!

The problem? The way the materials are rigged do NOT respond to the new render engine. In fact, she renders with pinkish skin. She just looks like a normal white woman, and not a WHITE woman. as you can imagine, this is a very serious problem, because Vizor outright just doesn't look like Vizor.

I have a few ideas to get around it, but it's going to take a lot of trying-and-failing. I can try playing with the material sliders and remix something simular, but it's looking fairly futile. My next idea would be to outright photoshop the maps on her skin to make it LOOK like it once did, but it still won't be able to react to her enviroment as used to. That was what I liked most about rendering the character, so it's pretty hard to re-capture.

But who knows. Maybe it's just time for Vizor to evolve and enjoy a new rendition. Either way, I'm going to need some time to think about it. - If you've read this far, maybe you can help Amanda Freight out. I don't see why she should suffer just because her tennis partner's in hospital. Does anyone want to suggest a new foe for her while we wait for Vizor?
