Upcoming enemy - Guard defender
Added 2022-05-22 11:10:56 +0000 UTCI was really happy to see that the far majority of you are okay with me adding a taunt mechanic : ) As such I can reveal the new enemy: The guard defender
This one will focus on defending her fellow fighters, making for a new challenge for the player.
I can also reveal that the next part of the main quest will involve mainly the city guards and some ol' familiar faces : )

I'd say that the guard can't do anything about attacks that intentionally damage multiple enemies. I believe it's intended to force you to attack that specific guard, AOE or not, not necessarily negate damage on another enemy.

2022-05-22 12:08:48 +0000 UTCCan the guard defender only protect from physical damage or magic damage too? What if all enemies get hit at the same time by the player? Will the defender pick a random party member to defend or do nothing at all? Will there be an guard offender later as a counterpart? :P
