Update stuff - help me improve my page pls thx <3

hi everyone, very sorry about the lack of... well, anything recently. i don't really like to post about my personal life online but i'll just say now that shit kinda sucks and it's been really affecting my morale and motivation to do, like, anything art-related lately. i'm really bad about allowing myself to take breaks, and the strain of feeling like i'm wasting my time not constantly doing art stuff only makes things worse, but i think the aforementioned lack of morale is probably as good of a reason as any to dial things back a bit. 

that being said, since this semester is finally letting up about now, when i do get back around to regularly making art stuff it means i'll have a lot more time for it, so that's pretty neat. i want to do more animations like that asuka from a bit ago, as well as finishing stuff that i kinda left by the wayside, like the nier x kainé thing i was supposed to do for last month's poll. i've kinda been soured on the whole idea, i won't lie, thanks to being particularly harsh on myself and not being able to come up with anything for it that "looks good" so as a result i've scrapped like five different drawings for it. i'll keep trying my best to get it finished though, whenever that may be. 

that being said, i'll still be putting up a new poll for may within the next day or so, and the $10 tier sketch rewards will also be reopened. those are pretty routine for me at this point, so they're a lot more chill and low-stress compared to other shit i find myself wanting to do. those aren't going away any time soon, thankfully! it does bring me to another point, though: i have this nagging feeling that, despite being at it for around a year now, this page is still pretty lacking i guess? part of that is the continuous lack of satisfaction with my art output like i mentioned earlier, but i also just want to offer more for prospective new patrons. that asuka animation did really well from my point of view, but i think the lack of other stuff last month was kind of disappointing. 

tl;dr i guess what i'm trying to say is, i want to offer more stuff to people on patreon, but i don't know what. if you all have any ideas on how i could improve operations over here that wouldn't, like, totally kill me, then i'm all ears. after all, it means more cool art on your end and the ability to pay off crippling debt to square enix on mine B) 

anyways, i hope this can provide some insight into the current state of affairs with my art and whatnot. i appreciate you all sticking around despite my relative lack of activity lately. it means more to me than you probably understand, but i really do. for real. seriously. thanks a bunch, poll stuff and sketch rewards will be up tomorrow. see ya!
