Roundscape: Vesper's Booty - Announcement

Vesper's Booty represents the fulfillment of the last major stretch goal from our offbeatr campaign. An expansion that approaches our previous update Emek’s Rest in size. We're only halfway done, but we're excited to give you a sneak-peak. The Story will be written by Nampites.
The Story
The adventure begins with PC meeting Aenwyn, an Elvish adventurer and treasure hunter, in Slinsk. What starts out as a simple treasure hunt soon turns in to an unexpected struggle with the Pirate Queen of the Southern Expanse, Vesper Lyra.
The Southern Expanse itself is a vast ocean that surrounds the coast of the Feral Lands, the location of both Emek’s Rest and the Prelek home of Veralia. The Expanse is dotted with many small islands, some of which were once fortified by the Preleks themselves.
Now, The Expanse is a lawless pirate-infested frontier, pirates whom have recently been united under the flag of The Pirate Queen.
Gameplay
This new adventure will take players to locations such as the Goblin trading post of Rockcliffe, The Pirate Queen’s hideout and the Summer Court of the Naga Queen.
For the first time, players will have full control of their own ship. Allowing them to explore the perilous waters of The Expanse and discover new locations, hidden secrets and even engage in naval battles.
- Vesper's Booty includes a whole new large quest chain and many side quests.
- Explore the southern expanse, hunt for treasures and fight pirates and other enemies in sea battles.
- Many new exciting NPC's. From known races like goblins, Lizagon and Prelek to completely new races.
- Of course like in Emek's Rest you can bring your companions and for the first time see Meredith in a bath-suit!
The Fun
It wouldn’t be Roundscape without things getting a little naughty along the way. You may already have guessed at some of the potential scenes based on the details and images in this post.
Needless to say, we’ve got a nice variety of scenes planned for the player in the Southern Expanse; A good mixture of conventional and more unusual encounters that we hope you will enjoy.

We've talked about potential outfit tweaks for certain areas, but these changes would affect the scene art as well and that has the potential to add a lot of work to scene production.

2018-04-17 20:43:47 +0000 UTCKinda relate and kinda not related, but will we be able to see whatever gear we have equipped change our character's appearance? i.e. will we be able to customize the clothing on our character's portrait that appears in the menu and in conversations. Also, will we be able to customize our physical appearance? Like: hair color, eye color, and/or body size?

Here's the problem, we could easily fix it, but the chance is not small that it may break savefiles. But we're aware/working on the problem. And I can guarantee that we won't break savefiles for dual wield.
