Patreon Fee Change

Hey folks,

some of you might have heard about the upcoming patreon change, maybe you got an email or read about it from another H-Game developer.

 If not i'll quickly explain it: Patreon is going to change the fee system. 

At this point I want to ask you, not as a developer but as fellow fan of ero games to read the whole post I wrote.

To say it short, they will change their current fee to a " 2.9% + $0.35" service Fee.

For a 10$ pledge that means: 10,64$
(+ vat and that stuff)

This change hits patreon projects with 1$ to 5$ pledges the most as you can see in the chart, we have 10$ as pledge level but I still feel obliged to tell you folks.

Also I want to be completly honest with you folks. 

Patreon is still the best way for us to create our games as we imagine them. 

We got inquiries from H-Game publisher, especially for Arenus but we didn't sold out. Being indepedent and true to our community is very important for us.

I can't change active pledges because the system is locked as long there are active users, I can't lower the 10$ pledge to 9,46$ to balance the change. 

Patreon is our main source of income to fund our games. The alternative would be a publisher like Nutaku and tbh I want to avoid that at all costs.

I always tried to keep this patreon as fair as possible. One pledge while other creators start new patreon projects for their new projects and I always try to do so because I am obliged so due the awesome support and heartwarming community we got here.

So I hope you'll stay with us through this change, because all of you are the reason we can create those games. Without shit like microstransactions, Nutaku gold or turning Ruksana into a human maid.
