The creation of Emek's Rest

Hey folks!

In this post we're going to talk about the creation, developement and release of Emek's Rest. 

The design for Emek’s Rest began with a discussion about what we wanted to do as far as themes and adventures after the Main Quest was concluded. Eventually in December of 2016 we put out Emek’s Rest and three other ideas for you, our supporters to vote on. 

Explore the last vestage of the ancient Minotaur Kingdom. In this last redoubt a small clan of minotaurs seeks to end centuries of civil war. But unfortunately for their young leader a powerful sorcerer will stop at nothing to keep the region locked in chaos. 

Emek’s Rest was the winner and then we started taking the small concept and building it into a fully fledged quest line. Once an outline was created we started producing art for the characters and figuring out the different types of scenes we wanted to add to the area.   

Now we have over 80k words, dozens of new characters and over 25 pictures for new erotic scenes created just for Emek's Rest and there is still more in works. It became a bit bigger than we thought.

We pushed ourselves with Roundscape for this Area because we know how much you folks are looking foward it. It's a fan voted idea and we know almost everyone loves minotaurs! We've used "parallax mapping" for every single map of Emek's Rest, tested out new methods to create bloom and other cool effects and we're really proud of the results.

When the update with Emek’s Rest is unfurled, players will receive a visitor from the Wild Lands, the continent where Emek’s Rest is based in. The visitor is Jenda kor Emek, the daughter of the Minotaur Lord named Krathon. From there the player will travel to Emek’s Rest, a city besieged by civil war and in dire need of the player’s help. Of course, since this is still Roundscape we will have more than just minotaurs. 

Throughout the storyline and side missions, players will run into Lizagons, the keepers of the swamps, and the deadly Raven Clan, a group of barbaric humans who worship the black bird. Scene wise we will have a wide variety of characters and fetishes for players to enjoy.   

I hope everyone has enjoyed this taste of what is to come for Roundscape Adorevia. Rest assured, even after Emek’s Rest is in the game we will still be updating Roundscape. More content is still coming for the Pregnancy System and we’re still working on adding scenes and quest so that all origin classes offer players a unique experience when they are chosen.   

We hope to release the first big chunk of emek's rest this month, but because it's more the size of a DLC instead of a regular patch there may be a small delay.
