I think the moment she fakes her death works so well because the whole show JD has been one step ahead of her. Tricking her into killing Heather and the boys. This time she get one over on him. He also would be easily fooled becasue as you said, he’s broken and unhinged in this moment. He’s not in his right mind. If totally makes sense he would believe it. It also doesn’t make sense for her to kill herself at all, so I disagree if that was real it would be great writing. Enjoyed this series!

In terms of the explosion scene, when I saw it live we didn’t cheer during that scene, mostly because we were all just kind of completely sucked into it I think haha. We were all a bit locked in, knowing we were close to the end. It was a lot of smoke and flashing lights, and very loud, and very very well done honestly! On the topic of cabbage patch kids, they freaked me out when I was little, and they still do to this day.
