2024-10-30 22:27:34 +0000 UTCI’m glad the comment about the time period helped. Some more fun facts, Act 2 came out in 1990. The two shows were first performed together in 1991, and was on broadway in 1992. I know you’ve gotten through more of Act 2, so I think you’ll see why this act in particular how the time period it released made this show even more impactful. All I can say is welcome to falsetto land… *dread*

2024-10-20 01:46:37 +0000 UTCIn regards to the cooking thing, it's how Marvin expected Trina and Whizzer to act based on gender roles. Trina being a woman, was expected to cook. Whizzer was expected to cook as well because in Marvin's eyes, Whizzer was the "girl" of the relationship (as said in Thrill of First Love due to Marvin being the bread winner). Great video, can't wait until part 6!
