Philippa Soo's runs just SLAY ME every time. They're so CLEAN. How does she do that? Edit: Calling out the "I" vowels made me realize that all those "I"s are actually a repeat of referring to Hamilton's eyes, which Angelica and Eliza both gush over in their songs. So basically, what Angelica has echoing here is "eyes...eyes...eyes..." before she wraps it up by saying "at least I keep his eyes in my life." I don't know if that was intentionally, but given how brilliantly constructed everything else in this musical is, I wouldn't doubt it.

Now that you've had a chance to analyze the music and lyrics, you really should watch this side -by-side video showing how the choreography was matched up in both songs to show that they were the same events happening twice! And the way they use the spinning stage to rewind and then fast-forward is really cool! 2024-10-01 17:41:58 +0000 UTCit was actually 4 songs!! the first 3 really blended well and thats what I love about them ^^ also funfact martha washington didnt name her feral tomcat after alexander that was a made up rumor by a british captain to try embarrass the revolutionaries, john adams later spread this rumor further! (aha sorry for the long comment I just love little hamilton facts a lot)
