I could go to a more consistent M-F schedule, 5x/week, where it's very rare I miss a day (would only happen if I run out of backlog).
In this scenario I'd take weekends to add backlog in case of emergency + devote more time to planning and brainstorming. Chapters would come out on a much more consistent basis--ie you could safely expect a chapter every weekday, with occasional bonus chapters on weekends
Or continue how things are, where missed days happen a few times a month (can't control which days) but I shoot for daily chapters

Just do whatever you have to do without getting burnt out. As a reader I always want more chapters to read, because I'm a greedy bastard, but do what's good for you boss.

2024-07-11 16:26:33 +0000 UTCI'm for the 5x a week plan. The story isn't all of your life, and I'd much rather you have enough time for real life, relaxing, and planning things out. We aren't going anywhere. And the possibility of a bonus chapter is much more enticing than the possibility of a missed day.
