2006 was the last one I bought close to its release. HCTP was my favourite, SvR (2005) a complete disappointment for me, 2006 was alright but gameplay went into a direction (simulation) I did not enjoy the same as the action heavy gameplay of HCTP. The only game of the series which I did really enjoy again was WWE '13 probably because of all the Attitude Era Content, and gameplay felt much better than WWE '12 (the counter system worked better) and was somehow also better than 2k14, not sure what was different in terms of gameplay, but '13 just felt better. It might just have been the Attitude era stuff which got me hooked.

2020-09-17 13:04:12 +0000 UTCNice man, agreed with a lot of this. WWE After 2007 got pretty bad. 08’ was bland for me but 2009 was the absolute worst. Also wasn’t a huge Punk fan, even in ECW, I always thought Burke was the more talented of the two in their little rivalry
