Maybe it's just the jitters of being around the goth girl everyone has told him so much about. At least he's safe and indoors away from the raging snowstorm outside. Maybe Misery can keep him nice and warm beneath her beautiful bare feet.
He should be happy! After all, it's a nice belated birthday present for him. Or maybe it's an early Squishmas gift for Misery. Either way she's going to enjoy playing with him beneath her warm soles.
