DNF duel - Dragon Knight

This is a new case study for stylized shaders. Constructing this character shader took me around 3 hours. Even though I have a lot of experience with the previous Guilty Gear XRd, GG Strive, DBZ Fighters and GBFVS shaders, this new way of shading posted a challenge. 

I mentioned on some of my very first videos, that you can construct the shader however you want, since you will create it for Blender, not for a game engine. You will not be exporting anything to no game engine.  As long as your shader looks good, you're done.

Regardless, DNF duel comes with SHADOW and LIGHT layers packed in the RGBA channels of an additional ILM map. I was astonished by this since it's the same way I build the very first FIXY model shading.

I am glad, after 4 years, a huge team like ArcSystem works decided: You know what? Let's leave the character fully illuminated and let's make just the shadow layers on an additional ILM map.
