Update 8+9

Hello everyone,

vote for Update 8 was won by Cyprus+ (for FM24 and FM26) so it will be done for this update.

In Update 7 will be added Slovenia+, Belize, Finland, Guam, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Philippines and Seychelles. (and probably Peru)

• Slovenia+ - added levels 4/5 (and everything that was missing in them), added 3 level of youth league

• Belize - added 1 level

• Finland - added 4 levels + lower division cups, small rework of youth leagues

• Guam - added 2 levels

• Jordan - added 3 levels + main cup + league cup + super cup + reserve and U19 league

• Kuwait - added 2 levels + main cup + league cup + super up + U21 and U18 league

• Lebanon - added 3 levels + main cup + super cup + U20 league + 2 levels of U18 leagues

• Oman - added 2 levels + main cup + league cup + super up + U21 and U19 league

• Philippines - added 1 level

• Seychelles - added 2 levels + cup + super cup

First with the newest patch, databases of Austria and Germany stopped working. Problem is that now in game is different version of database than the version that is loaded into editor, so I see in Editor that everything is fine. Another problem is the trash UI which doesn't show where actually the problem is, so it is detective work to figure out where the problem is. Austria is fixed for now, so if you download again Update 2, there is already fixed version, currently I'm fixing Germany and it looks like I'm close to finding the error so I hope that tonight I will upload fix for it. I don't use beta patches, so if there something doesn't work, I will be fixing it when it's out of Beta.

Main nation in this update is Slovenia+, added is full pyramid, added are missing things, edited are duplicates, added is history to leagues (23/24 and 24/25 seasons), there is added additional youth level, where you will get automatically youth team when you will be rising in the pyramid.

In Finland there were some smaller changes, some changes in League Cups that are played before season, added is level 4 and Region's Cup, there are some changes in rules and finances based on newest information.

My original plan was make Hong Kong, but it kind of changed, when finished Oman and Lebanon, I chose to stay in region and added Kuwait and Jordan. The biggest changes are in case of Jordan which is fully reworked, newly is added level 3 with two youth leagues. In case of Oman and Kuwait there is again lots of changes because these nations were not updated for longer time, Lebanon in other case was updated recently so it was easier to prepare it for FM26.

Belize, Guam and Seychelles are smaller nations and biggest changes were in case of Guam where they fully changed the formats of competitions.

I have in work Peru until level 3 with changes that happens to season 2026 so that probably will be in Update 7.

In Update 8 will be added Cyprus+ (added level 4 + youth system), because it will be done for FM24 too there will be Update 86 for FM24. So it will be kind of double update for both versions of game. With Cyprus+ will finally come Czech Republic+, I will be working with the remastered version, because it's better and you can actually combine it with other plus versions without any problems, which for me is big plus, this update will be for both FM24 and FM26. For FM24 will be updated some more nations (Finland had some changes in formats, Jordan, Oman, Kuwait are other that have lots of changes), for FM26 I want to some push in North America, Update 7 has lots of Asia, Update 6 has Africa and before was lots of Europe and Oceania, so in my head it looks like it's tiem for North America. There is still lots of ways I can go (Central American nations (Costa Rica, Nicaragua etc), Caribbean nations or Canada/USA/Mexico), all of it will be based how Cyprus and Czech Republic will go.

Voting for Update 9 will have Finland+ (level 5/6), Denmark+ (level 8/9), Romania+, South Africa+ and Brazil+ (adding Serie D + all State levels + youth systems).
