Jill Progress Report #3
Added 2025-09-20 15:02:55 +0000 UTCThis progress report is mostly going to be a recap since the previous post about the last bonus scene kind of covered most of it.
The first draft is done of the main 4 scenes, and I've since begun the first draft of the intro. I have most of Jill's animation done because I have her audio but I will be waiting on Wesker's audio to finish animating it.
A more accurate length of the movie is 2 minutes 46 seconds on the main scenes and the intro is about 32 seconds right now (it could change once all the audio is in). That puts the pull project at 3 minutes 18 seconds. This will officially make it my longest movie to date. That also doesn't include another bonus scene added on top if it gets unlocked.
I think my next goal will be polishing up the carry position and prone bones scene to completion. I think those scenes will be easier to tackle first and then I can begin doing final renders on them while working on the rest of the movie. It'll probably be at least a week to polish up all these scenes to final. That's not including time on the intro and editing. Release looks on track for early October, but of course that is still only an estimation. If another scene gets unlocked that will add time too.
Thank you for all the support and comments along the way! I've been way less stressed while working on this project from all who have joined because I haven't needed to push commissions as hard. I think the supporter goals are also showing their value now pretty clearly. If I don't hit the last one, I can wrap up the movie sooner. If I do hit the last goal, then it will justify the extra time it'll take to make one more scene. Either way, support has been pretty solid and has helped make a really exciting project.

At this point I'm not sure. I would say it's likely but it depends how quickly rendering goes. I can render some scenes while finishing others, but it is still going to be a lot.
