You should listen to the podcast Blowback! It references and recommends amazing books about the Iraq War..British colonialism and imperialism extended to the Middle East, to Iraq as well! Britain tirelessly tried to conquer Afghanistan in the 1800s and early 1900s too! This is another reality Harry never realizes or criticizes.

RE: Harry's rear in print from the strip poker and how nothing terrible ever comes out about Kate -- she did have pap pics of her taken topless on vacation and they hit the papers (not in the UK because their laws are actually strickter since 2012) the day she was going to visit a mosque. I don’t know. To me, chasing fame and spilling guts while not having any family around for the kids seems worse than what Will is doing. Kate is from a super stable background and they seem to be emulating the Middletons.

I’m from the Chicago suburbs and this high schooler in my town was w his friends one summer shooting firecrackers at one another and they LITERALLY shot his eye out and the kid is blind in one eye. He lost a D1 college baseball scholarship or something bc of it. All I can think about with firecrackers! So unsafe!!

I don’t feel sorry for will but I know what you mean Ashley, I think whatever Harry was subjected to in the family dynamic will he’s probably gotten it worse (imagine not being hugged as a child that is awful) - so two brothers that are also playing out the dynamic that the family has to them, to each other and then at least Harry has the ability to separate and create a new dynamic but will stays and creates this awful dynamic with his own family and the cycle continues…

Random thought after listening for the second time… he is aware as a teen of how OTT and intrusive the press are but had sex in an open field behind a pub (that presumably was full of customers). Maybe he wasn’t bothered as this was pre-camera phones but that’s a bold move.
