Attack Mechanics for Chaos Signal

One thing I would like to accomplish in 2024 is have the story script & game mechanics ready for this old game idea I had. One person I originally asked said they could help, but they later said that I should look at Gamemaker instead. As much as I would like to learn and use Gamemaker, I have a sunk cost facility with RPG Maker and want to make at least one finished product with it.
I found another person who I’d like to pay for help; I haven’t contacted them yet as I don’t want to get started until I’m employed again. But I did make this with the intention of showing what I’d like.
