Partial Beta Update - 9/30/22

hey guys! sorry this is coming so late. got hit with a few real life suckerpunches within the last week, including but not limited to: some stolen credit cards, a fractured ankle, and some (thankfully minor) post-surgery complications.

all the writing is done for the update, but I'm still really behind on coding. however, I didn't want to leave you completely empty-handed for September, so I went ahead and uploaded what I have coded so far.

it's not much from a gameplay perspective, just the first part of the branches of the next scene (except for Bas/Li option, which I'll be starting on next) up to the first choice block, but from a writing/coding perspective it's about 10,000 words.

I should have the coding done in the next couple of days and I'll put out another beta update then, but I wanted to get something out to you before the end of the month 💙 thank you for your patience!
