Weekly Update + - 2/16/21

happy Tuesday!

I'm gonna have to be pretty quick this week. We're under rolling blackouts here because, essentially, it's so cold that everyone's heaters are using more electricity than the powerplants can create, so we're getting controlled power outages to prevent widespread uncontrolled power loss. It is cold on a level I previously could never have imagined.

I've been writing as much as I can. I only have one more branch left to finish in that one scene, and I've been laying out how everything that comes after will go so I should be able to finish things up once I can sit down and write without fear of sudden power loss.

I'm going to have to push some of my plans back a bit. The monthly lore post on Patreon was going to go up today, but I'm going to push that until probably this weekend when the temperature is back in positive numbers and the power situation is more stable. I'll try to get the beta update out next week, since I can't do any coding this week, and I'll get the public update out after that. I hate to do it, but I don't really have much say in the matter.

I'm gonna continue to be pretty quiet on social media for the next few days too, for obvious reasons, but hopefully not for long. Please know that even if I can't reply right now, I see all your messages and will reply when I can! 💙

for update + this week, since I'm under a bit of a time crunch at the moment, I just wanted to announce that there are only 2 scenes left in chapter 2! One of them has a lot of branches you can explore (and some more flirt options, finally!), the other is a little more straightforward and will start to finally introduce the plot for the book! I'm hopeful that I'll have it finished in March 😁
