Proper flexibility (length of a muscle) and mobility (range of joint motion) are crucial for maintaining the stability of the entire musculoskeletal system and preventing its injuries. It not only enables performing advanced exercises such as squats correctly but also living a healthy, pain-free life. Exercises oriented toward flexibility must be an integral part of the training routine whether you are a footballer, bodybuilder, or white-collar worker.
FLEXIBILITY stimulates stretch receptors and helps muscles to relax and become more receptive to flexibility exercises. While it has all the potential to improve flexibility without requiring actual stretching, use it as an integral part of your workout routine, not as a substitute.

Remember to warm up your muscles before stretching. I recommend performing dynamic stretching before a workout and static stretching on non-workout days.
