HALOTESTIN (Fluoxymesterone) - The strongest anabolic-androgenic steroid?

Fluoxymesterone (9-alpha-fluoro-11-beta-hydroxy-17-methyltestosterone), commonly known under Halotestin. It is one of the most potent anabolic-androgenic steroid ever used by man.
Its anabolic/androgenic ratio stands at 1900 / 850, which (theoretically) means that it has a 19x stronger anabolic effect than testosterone (its A/A ratio is 100/100) and is also 8.5x more androgenic. Its potential may be quickly evaluated by comparing to other very strong AAS like trenbolone (A/A ratio 500/500) or Dianabol (A/A ratio 200/50). After comparison, halotestin is still unmatched. However, the human body is not capable of utilizing its anabolic potential due to this agent low bioavailability. Therefore, Halotestin can almost only induce the effects associated with its huge androgenic activity, inducing an effect known as "androgenic overload." 

Scientists claim that halotestin should also be recognized as a glucocorticosteroid rather than only an anabolic steroid, as it is also a cortisol-derivative. Halotestin will, i.a., directly affect the central nervous system and temporarily increase muscle strength.

Fluoxymesterone incredibly increase strength in a concise amount of time without significant gains in muscle mass. It also improves muscle definition and vascularity like no other agent, therefore is commonly used among bodybuilders before competitions. However, due to its harsh side effects should only be used right before competitions (2-4 weeks before). Halo contains a 17-methyl group; therefore, it is hepatotoxic like most oral AAS.
