FYI Friday post - let's talk about October!

It's Friday and time to catch up on what's happening at the Print Minis HQ :) All our amazing sculptors are hard at work on releases for October. 

Tuesday 3rd Oct releases:

1. Mutated Acolytes

The first release of October will see a set of modular Mutated Acolytes for our Code Splicer Cult! Martina had so munch fun with this mutated version of our CSC gang, especially posing with four arms which was pretty crazy to do haha!

They're all test printed and ready to release. There is a 'pouch' to fill an arm slot if you don't want to use four arms, but I'm going to be honest, I instantly lost it after the pouch came off the supports! So be extra careful with that tiny piece, or maybe just use four arms... :P

2. Bridges & Platforms Kit

This is a cool kit that Pedram has been working hard on for the last two weeks. It is a kit that works with our Risor District walls, but also works standalone on support pillars. You can use the pieces to create a platform with bridges, but you can also create a dock for the Sump Swamp. 

Just run the platforms alongside your Risor walls like a dockside, and add a water effect to your diorama. There is a Gate option for the end of a pier, which will have modular accessories to add (in the WIP images, you can see a solar panel).

After the release of this kit on Monday, we will do a Dock Accessories kit with waterside specific pieces, such as docking posts for boats, and a little forklift perhaps for unloading goods, some general crate scatter etc. We'll see how it turns out!

Other October Previews

As I mentioned before, we're working on a boat kit, but that will be released towards the end of the month. 

To go with the boats, there is a pirate crew! Last time when I mentioned them, I wasn't sure if they would be compatible with the previous Outlaws kit, but it's looking like they will be :D So now you can make some pirate outcasts!

I've attached a variety of shots showing the different modular parts and some assembled poses. This kit should be finished mid-October :) It will be provided as legs, heads, arms and torsos.

Annual Membership

The last update for this month is that we're hoping to implement Annual Memberships next month on Patreon. I was waiting for Andy to finish the 9 and 12 month loyalty rewards, because it felt like good timing to launch the 12 month package alongside all 4 rewards, which you would get instantly. 

However, Andy is working on them on and off, but isn't in the creative space to really do them justice right now. You might have noticed we've been expanding our team over the last 6 months (especially with Pedram doing terrain and JoJo doing vehicles), because Andy suffered massive burnout this year, and just can't sculpt at his previous capacity anymore. He's recovering, but he's making models at his own pace for the moment :) Huge apologies for the delay on the Loyalty Rewards being finished!

Anyway, tangent aside, I think I'm just going to offer the 12 month membership anyway. It will save people 10% and could be a great Christmas gift for loved ones :) Keep an eye out for that announcement.
