Vilous | Talyxian Organisms - Imagoi and Odei [Pre-reading the Raw Concept]

Hello. Today we will introduce two kinds of Talyxian animals.

Imagoi
As its name suggests, it is a mushroom-shaped Talyxian living deep in the forest of Magoe and Lower Magoe. It have the name of Imagoi, but if in the forest department you can also see small ones in Vetla.

Imagoi is an important item for people in Northern, especially for shaman clan. Cutting out its head, it has an internal organs like gray brain inside, floating in  liquid. This internal organs is considered to be poisonous, it is not normally used, and it is buried under ground. but, this liquid is used by people in north instead of alcohol or drug. This will maximize impact of Miasma and gain a sense of unifying with Talyxian forest. People drink this on a daily basis. Distilled things are used for traditional religious ceremonies, and Brave clan sometimes buys this. Agudner will also decline a little, but it will be effective.

Generally, people except Northern do not like this. It is very grotesque and causes a bad trip. Distribution to the south is regulated except for medical drug use.

Odei
Living in forests or wilderness, but almost all of them is own species of Thekan. It is a plant type Talyxian, walk slowly and move. As its characteristic, it is synthesizing explosive compounds in body, and it is to explode if given stimulation. Materials that will be the source of gunpowder in Vilous can only be taken from this Odei, but because of the extremely dangerous and it had caused many dead, people couldn't develop explosive technology until sufficient Odei treatment facilities have been founded in the late period of Shigu.

The exploding Odei scatters sharp species like a cutter and lets bite seeds into other plants and animals. Then, it germinates there, and when it gets larger to a certain extent, it falls to the ground using tentacles and feet, and starts to feed themselves. Food is mainly Talyxain or Eltus insects containing a lot of minerals. There is only one mouth, it also serves as an excretion mouth. It is morphologically classified as a species close to Dondokos. It seems to explode if the total length exceeds 30 to 50 cm. they will repeat the cycle of falling from grown tree, growing in the wilderness and desert, and returning to the forest for breeding.

こんにちは。今日は、2種類のTalyxian動物を紹介します。

Imagoi（イマゴイ） - その名の通り、Magoe/Magoe-th-etaの森の奥深くに群生するキノコ型のTalyxianです。Imagoiの名前がついていますが、森林部であればBetraでも小型のものを見かけることができます。

Imagoiは、北部の人々の、とくにshaman clanにとって重要なアイテムです。その頭部を切り抜くと、中に灰色の脳味噌のような内臓が入っていて、液体の中に浮いています。この内臓は毒であるとされ、通常利用せず、地中に埋められます。しかし、この液体を、北部の人々はアルコール代わりに利用します。これはMiasmaの影響を最大限に高め、森と一体化する感覚を得ることができます。人々はこれを日常的に飲みます。蒸留したものは伝統的な宗教儀式に使われるほか、Brave clanもこれを買い求めることがあります。Agudnerに対しても、少し減退しますが、効果があります。

一般に、北部を除いた人々はこれを好みません。非常にグロテスクであり、バッドトリップを引き起こします。南部への流通は、薬物への利用を除いて規制されています。

Odei（オデイ）- 森林、或いは荒野に住む生物ですが、殆どThekenの固有種です。植物型のTalyxianですが、ゆっくりと歩行して移動をします。その特質として、体内で爆発化合物を合成しており、刺激を与えると爆発することが有名です。Vilousで火薬の原料となる物質はこのOdeiからしか採取できませんが、非常に危険で多くの死者を出したため、Shiguの後期になり十分なOdei処理設備が整うまで、火薬の技術は発展しませんでした。

爆発したOdeiは刃物のように鋭い種を飛散させ、他の植物や動物の体内に自分の種を食い込ませます。そして、そこから発芽し、ある程度大きくなると触手と足を使って地面に落ち、自分で餌を取るようになります。餌は主に鉱物質を多く含む昆虫類です。口は一つだけで、排泄口を兼ねています。形態的にはDondokosに近い種とされます。全長30~50cmを超えると爆発するようになるようです。育った木から落ち、荒野・砂漠で成長し、繁殖の為に森に戻ってくるというサイクルを繰り替えします。
