ROW ONE

Panel 1 – at the art studio. Stacy and Brian are by the sofa

Brian (stands): I should leave. You have a lot to think about. I'm being a distraction.

Stacy: It was nice to finally be able to respond to you.

Brian: I hope to hear from you soon about buying you some things to wear. Call me when you're ready. Meredith has my number.

Panel 2 – Brian goes over to Meredith. Noriko stands near Stacy

Noriko: He’s a charmer.

Stacy: What? Um... yeah. I'm not used to being on the receiving end of a guy's attention.

Noriko: I'm sure that won't be the last time. Here’s your phone. I've updated your contacts with our numbers. And Brian's.

Stacy: I should contact Reggie.

Noriko: And your family.

ROW TWO

Panel 3 – A bit away from the other two

Brian: Meredith, have you lined up another statue for the restaurant?

Meredith: I am expecting the model shortly.

Brian: So, four? Five days?

Meredith: Let’s say six. I'm going to spend most of today with Stacy.

Brian: Of course, you will. Always a pleasure doing business with you, Meredith. Good day, ladies.

Panel 4 – Brian is gone. The ladies are by the door.

Meredith: There’s the doorbell. I’m expecting the new statue model. I doubt Stacy wants to sit in a restaurant in that short outfit. Noriko, why don’t you pick up lunch and bring Stacy to our home? I’ll meet you there once I’m done here.

Noriko: Sounds good. What kind of food are you craving after 18 months made of marble?

Stacy: Wow, I am hungry. I hadn’t really noticed until you mentioned it. Thai?

COLUMN THREE Phone panel – a conversation between Stacy and Leona, via Reggie's phone.

Leona: Stacy? It's Leona. I just told Reggie you texted.

Stacy: There's a... complication.

Leona: Someone already told you we rented out your room?

Stacy: What? No, that's fine. Meredith said I could stay with her.

Leona: :wooo: Oh, good. Then, what's the complication?

Stacy: You saw the statue?

Leona: It was gorgeous. Did you get to see a pic of it?

Stacy: Didn't need to. I can just look in a mirror to see it.

Leona: No way.

Stacy sends a pic of her face.
